This linerless orange closure with a breakaway band is called a 38mm snap/screw. It is snapped (pushed) onto the bottle followed by downstream torquing during filling, and then acts as a continuous thread (screw thread) closure when the consumer unseals and reseals package. When matched to a bottle with the same neck finish, the package provides the consumer with an indication of tampering (tamper evidency). The breakaway band remains on the bottle after opening.
